Freestyle Camp Series 2014

Great end to the 2014 freestyle camp series last week. It was a great week with everyone making awesome progress. Good to see the future of UK paddling – the youngest person was 13 and already hitting almost the full ICF scoring repertoire. It was great to have Claire O’hara along, both training and coaching, before heading out to Australia/New Zealand for winter training. An amazing end to the 2014 freestyle camp season, can’t wait for Uganda 2015.

Norway Freestyle Camp 2014

I’ve just returned from an awesome time in Norway running a freestyle camp with a group of talented national team paddlers and young future rising stars. We stayed at the Sjoa Kayak Camp which was only 5 mins from the Jølgen wave. Finnish Team Freestyle Camp

I’ve been running a freestyle training camp for the Finnish national team to assist them in their preparations for the European Championships. The training venue was excellent with great facilities; including a cooking area, classroom and sauna. The feature was relatively small but powerful, and supported all hole moves, making it a great place to train. The programme was based around training to train, training to compete and competing to win. It was great to Read more

Course Spotlight – Athlete Development Programme (ADP)

“I have been kayaking for about 4 years and last winter I had a trip to the White Nile and made a decision that I had had enough of messing around in my playboat but not really progressing very much.
