I’m currently in Sydney coaching and training with Claire O’Hara and Jez Jezz. We definitely lucked in this weekend with the localised rain providing two days of great paddling for the group. Day one was themed around steep creeking skills for running falls, drops and slides and the skills needed to safely manage a group in this challenging environment. This year saw Hurley Classic celebrate its 25th birthday, and once again it was an amazing event. One of my many highlights was Saturday’s Younguns – ‘Paddle with Stars’.
