I’m currently in Sydney coaching and training with Claire O’Hara and Jez Jezz. We’re based relatively close to the Olympic Whitewater Stadium where there’s a great wave feature, similar to a mini Garb (the feature to be used in World Championships 2015). We’ve been taking breaks between training to go surfing, mountain biking and sailing and generally enjoying the Aussie life style. We’re two weeks into training now, and just about to head over to Central Otago, New Zealand. Whilst there we’ll be running freestyle clinics and a youth freestyle camp. The Hawea river wave has a great reputation and I’m stoked to see what we can all throw down there.
