Lots of mixed emotions with this one… Ultimately, I am disappointed that I did not perform the ride that I had in my head. However, there are lots of things that I am proud of. I am happy with my preparation for the event and proud to say that I poured my heart and soul into it. I am delighted that I progressed through every round and paddled with focus and a desire to do my best. I am extremely proud of Ottilie Robinson-Shaw for showing the world how amazing she is.

I am extremely fortunate to have had a strong team who were there with me every step of the way.

A huge thank you to my coach, friend, and role model Dennis Newton for believing in me and giving me so much of his time and energy.

Thank you to Tanya Neilson for always going above and beyond for the GB freestyle team.

Thank you, to Peak UK, for making sure I had the best kit on the water and being there to support throughout the event.

The last year would not have been possible without support from Holme Pierrepont White Water Course, particularly Matt Hancock and Lauren Ritchie-Walton.

Thank you to Flow Kayaks for always being there to help me out.

Thank you to all my friends and family who came to support or sent messages of encouragement, you know who you are, you are greatly appreciated!

Peace out Worlds 2022, the future is exciting.
