What’s the difference between Personal Coaching Options?
The Monthly Unlimited Support Package, provides additional 24/7 open communication and quick response video feedback. That said, you’ll receive premium service with whichever package you choose, so simply pick the one that best suits your budget.
How much does Personal Coaching cost?
You can choose between two options:
Monthly Coach Support: £145 per month. This option provides additional 24/7 open communication and quick response video feedback.
Pay-as-you-go: £40 per session (1 hour long). Each session can include a pre-arranged online coaching session, video feedback, or training/competition advice.
How often will you check in with me?
Very often! We’ll communicate at least a few times per week. I’ll provide you with personal feedback, highlighting areas where you’re doing well and what we need to work on for the following week. This ensures we’re consistently moving towards your goal at a rate you’re happy with.
I’ve only just started competing, will this be suitable for me?
Yes, absolutely! When I create your plan, I’ll consider your level of experience, availability to train, and your goals. Upon signing up, you’ll complete a questionnaire that provides me with all the information I need to design your plan.
Do I need to live in the United Kingdom?
No, you don’t! I work with athletes from all over the world, and our online personal training will ensure you can work with me from anywhere, regardless of your location.
What if I’m often traveling or training abroad?
I’m happy to adjust the plan to ensure you stay on track while traveling, training and exploring new whitewater destinations, regardless of time zones.
How do you create my training plan?
I’ll provide a quick and user-friendly athlete questionnaire to identify what has worked well in the past and areas where we can enhance your performance. I’ll then conduct a thorough review of your training and competitive journey. After that, we’ll arrange a video call to get a clear understanding of your goals and what success looks like for you. Together, we’ll finish by charting the next steps to implement the best tools, models, and approaches to reach your goals.
How can I make sure I’m doing the remote practice right?
I’ll provide in-person coaching via video call with practical practice involved. Each exercise is also accompanied by video resources and key coaching points as a reminder. Additionally, I’ll request that you record yourself performing the activity at key times and then forward it to me for feedback.
How will the regular check-ins work?
You can schedule check-ins as needed to review your progress, discuss challenges, and adjust your training programme. These sessions help us assess your goals and make necessary changes. Check-ins can be in-person, over the phone, or via video call, depending on your preference. This way, I can offer the feedback, support, accountability, and encouragement you need to reach your goals.
Which communication platforms will we be using?
We’ll typically use Google Meet or Zoom for in-person training sessions.
How quickly will you get back to me?
Outside of the pre-arranged check-ins, I’ll typically respond within an hour. We’ll keep each other informed upfront about any changes to our training schedules.
If I sign up today, when will I receive my training plan?
Once you’ve signed up for the ADP athlete roster, I’ll send you a questionnaire to complete. After that, we’ll arrange a video call to discuss your goals and finalise your plan, which typically takes less than 5 days.
Do I need to train every day?
No, I’ll design a plan to fit around your lifestyle. Most top-tier athletes train 3 to 4 times per week, but I also work with athletes who train once per week or fortnightly. I’ll create a plan that is optimal for your goals while ensuring it’s realistic.
Can I still work with other coaches?
Yes, you can. I pride myself on being athlete-centered and have extensive experience collaborating with other coaches and sport science practitioners. My approach to creating a holistic and supportive environment for athletes ensures they receive the best possible guidance from a diverse team of professionals.
Is my performance data and ride plan private?
Yes, only you and I will have access to your performance data, including competition ride plans. Sometimes, with your consent, may share this data with your peers during training.
