Dennis Newton is a pioneer in the applied field of paddlesport coaching and provides services for both recreational and competitive coaching. He has served as a performance coach and consultant for national freestyle teams and has worked with World and European champions. He has also been a guest speaker at the European Extreme Sports Conference (Lisbon University) and works closely with the British Canoe Union as a technical advisor on freestyle coaching and award programs.
His passion for coaching is combined with an equal thirst for travel and exploration, constantly looking for rivers that allow him to explore new possibilities. A key attribute he draws from this extensive paddling experience is the importance of providing an open, progressive and nurturing coaching environment.

Over 15 years of coaching experience developing cutting edge coaching programmes for white water kayaking all over the globe; including coaching and consulting for European national freestyle teams and National Governing Body’s (NGB’s)
Paddling Experience
Extensive paddling experience travelling the globe in search of challenging rivers and freestyle venues in Europe, Africa, North America, Asia and Oceania.
