Paddlesport and Rescue courses are potentially dangerous activities and come with inherent risks associated with water. All participants should make themselves aware of these risks and conduct themselves in a manner respectful of these. Participants are advised to take out suitable insurance.

Health & Safety Considerations
All SW-C courses and associated activity require a level of physical fitness. Information on the physical demands of each course can be found through our website or by talking to SW-C. If you have a medical condition you must seek advice prior to attending any course.

Other participant requirements:
– Must be able to swim .
– If under the age of 18 have, a parent or legal guardian must sign and agree the terms of the booking form.
– Act in a respectful manner. SW-C will ask any participant who acts in a manner that endangers them or other participants to leave the course.
– Be at an appropriate standard for the course you are booked on. Please confirm with SW-C if you are unsure.

Equipment & Clothing
Participants must supply their own clothing and equipment, unless otherwise specified/arranged. Damage or loss to SW-C equipment caused by malicious acts or carelessness must be paid for (at full new equipment replacement value). All equipment must be suitable and conform to C.E/ISO approval.

Accommodation can be booked on your behalf by SW-C for your course, provided you request this at least four weeks in advance of your course. After this period SW-C will advise of the accommodation used for the course so that you can make arrangements. Accommodation is not included in course fees unless otherwise stated.

Booking and Payments
A booking is only accepted upon receipt of a completed and signed booking form with appropriate payment. Places can only be reserved by submitting a completed booking form & non-refundable deposit of £50.00 for courses 5 days or less in duration or £200 for courses 6 days or more in duration.
Anyone booking for a group must enclose individual signed booking forms for each participant and return to SW-C. Booking courses can be made by Post, Email or Telephone.
The final balance should reach SW-C no later than 30 days (90 days in the case of all non European destinations) before the trip start date. If the balance is not received by the specified date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your deposit will be forfeited, unless a delay in your payment has been agreed by SW-C.
Bookings accepted after the balance due date can be secured with the appropriate deposit and full payment must then reach us within 7 days of us confirming your booking.

Cancellations and Refunds
